Notes on care

Only water using the self watering top-up tube check every 2 to 3 weeks when you can see the top of the white float then the 2L reservoir is full. The plant roots only take the water it needs and works on the natural capillary action of the soil.

 

“Never water from top so keeping the top layer of soil dry this stops any bugs & flies laying eggs they only like wet soil”. 

 

Mist often with water spray at least once per week this keeps the plant clean & healthy.

 

Feed the plant with liquid fertilizer in spring and early summer when you top up the water reservoir. Whatever fertilizer you use! Only mix half the amount it states for example if its 4ml to a litre only use 2ml.Top up the reservoir with the fertilizer mix during September to January. The plant has been fertilised this Spring/Summer so is next due in September 2012.

 

Keep the plant in a low to medium light area please no direct sun light. This plant does not like the cold so keep indoors.
